I have been coaching tennis since 1992 and I have been Wickham Park Tennis Club Manager since 1997. My passion is to get people playing the game, keeping them in the game and helping them reach their potential. My coaching philosophy is underpinned by a player centred approach; helping players access natural learning whilst building self-confidence and self-belief. Combining my years of experience and my knowledge of how players learn, I integrate sports science and coaching techniques to help

Coach Accreditation is the LTA’s professional membership scheme for coaches. Being accredited ensures that a coach is qualified, insured and meets safe-to-practice standards, such as first aid and safeguarding training. An Accredited+ coach also commits to a minimum of 15 hours of professional development training each year.
Qualifications range from 1 to 5 and indicate the level of formally-assessed training a coach has completed. Coaches begin the LTA Qualification pathway at LTA Assistant (Level 1) and are able to train up to Master Coach (Level 5), the highest available LTA qualification. When choosing a coach we recommend taking into account qualifications, experience and ongoing CPD training, which can be seen in their 'Recently completed training courses' tab.
All coaches displayed on this tool are committed to delivering tennis to people of all backgrounds including disability, faith, gender identity, race, sex and sexual orientation.
